“I’m Pretty Disappointed With Kanye Over His Meeting With Donald Trump, It’s A Publicity Stunt…” Says John Legend

Kanye West shocked many when he met with President elect Donald Trump on Tuesday.
And no one seemed to be more shocked or disappointed about the event than the rapper’s longtime friend and collaborator John Legend.
The 37-year-old singer opened up about about Kanye’s controversial meeting in an interview with Clique.tv on Wednesday.
John said: ‘I don’t think it’s impossible to talk to [Donald Trump] about issues, but I won’t be used as a publicity stunt. I think Kanye was a publicity stunt.’
Despite a longtime friendship and working relationship, the All Of Me hitmaker was not afraid to criticize his own friend.
The husband of Chrissy Teigen explained: ‘I’m pretty disappointed with Kanye that he says he would have voted for Trump.’
He goes on to describe the President elect as being ‘corrosive’ to the US.
John added: ‘ I think the things he’s promised to do have been very concerning for a lot of people, and for Kanye to support that message is very disappointing.’
As Kanye has had a rough month or so even suffering from a mental breakdown recently, the interviewer asked if Kanye might have had something else in mind.
John replied: ‘Whatever’s in his mind, I disagree with him.’
Kanye’s pal Common – who won and Oscar with John – was not as harsh, saying he will always love Kanye but did not think his meeting will do much.
